Ultrasonic Heat Meters | Insert & Inline & Clamp-on Meters

Ultrasonic Heat Meters (ultrasonic heat and cold meters) are based on ultrasonic flow meters and equipped with a pair of temperature transmitters to achieve heat measurement functions.

  1. Calculation formula for heat: heat = flow rate × (enthalpy value of water at A11 temperature – enthalpy value of water at A12 degrees)
  2. International standard enthalpy table has been stored in the calorimeter
  3. Ultrasonic heat meters come in various forms. The host is available in wall-mounted standard type, wall-mounted explosion-proof type, panel-mounted type and
  4. local display type. Sensors are available in clamp-on type, insert type, pipe segment type, etc.
  5. Can cyclically display positive, negative, net accumulated heat and accumulated flow, as well as instantaneous heat and flow, as well as time, temperature and other values.

Ultrasonic Heat Meters Description

Ultrasonic Heat Meters have their own heat accumulation function. The ultrasonic flowmeter is equipped with a pair of platinum resistors, and the international standard thermal exact heat calculation formula (exact difference method) can be used to achieve the measurement of cooling capacity/heat.

It can cyclically display positive, negative, net accumulated heat and accumulated flow, instantaneous heat and flow meter, time, temperature and other values.

Ultrasonic Heat Meters supplied by Sino-Inst are divided into portable, integrated, split, modular and battery-powered types. It is suitable for cooling/heat measurement of air conditioners and heat measurement of units, buildings, heat exchange stations and heating company pipe networks.

How does an ultrasonic heat meter work?

In heat exchange systems, flow pipe sections are installed on the fluid inlet or return pipe. A pair of temperature sensors are installed on the fluid inlet and return pipe respectively. According to the flow rate given by the flow sensor and the supply and return water temperature signal given by the paired temperature sensor, as well as the time of water flow. Use the calculator to calculate and display the thermal energy released or absorbed by the system.

What is ultrasonic BTU meter?

A BTU meter, also known as an energy meter, is a device used to measure the amount of heat energy produced or consumed in a heating or cooling system. Common BTU meters include ultrasonic and electromagnetic types.

BTU is British Thermal Unit. 1 BTU is the amount of heat required to heat 1 pound of pure water from 59 degrees Fahrenheit to 60 degrees Fahrenheit at an atmospheric pressure of 14.696 pounds per square inch.
