Sewage flow meter is a kind of flow meter often encountered in industry and life. There are three main types of flowmeters that can be used to measure sewage flow: electromagnetic flowmeters, ultrasonic flowmeters and turbine flowmeters.
1. Electromagnetic flow meter for measuring sewage
The best choice is of course a smart electromagnetic flowmeter. This flow meter is most widely used in sewage treatment and has its unique advantages.
Whether it is facing corrosive media in industrial production or domestic sewage in life, it can easily cope with it.
Its sensor adopts a straight-through design to allow better flow of media. Depending on the medium, electromagnetic flowmeters with different linings and electrodes can be selected.
2. Ultrasonic flow meter for sewage measurement
In addition to electromagnetic flowmeters, ultrasonic flowmeters are also a good choice. It comes in two types: clip-on type and plug-in type.
The external clamp type can be directly attached to the outside of the pipe. The advantage is that it does not require direct contact with the medium. The plug-in type needs to be inserted into the pipe.
Both types of ultrasonic flow meters are suitable for measuring sewage, but it should be noted that if there are too many impurities in the sewage, the accuracy of the measurement results may be affected.
3. Turbine flow meter for sewage measurement
We can also choose a smart turbine flow meter. Because it is made of 304 material, it is also a good flow meter for measuring sewage.
Because the turbine flowmeter cannot have too many impurities when measuring, otherwise it will cause the impeller to get stuck and cause inaccurate measurement or even damage to the impeller.
For sewage measurement in small-diameter pipelines, turbine flowmeters are also a good choice.
