Smart Differential Pressure Transmitter converts the measured differential pressure into 4-20mA DC current signal output. HART signal is optional. It can accurately measure gauge pressure, absolute pressure, flow, vacuum, level and density.

High Accuracy Differential Pressure Transmitter Description

Intelligent differential pressure transmitter is a multifunctional digital instrument. It adopts stable and reliable capacitive sensor/single crystal silicon pressure sensor technology. It is carefully designed with advanced single chip microcomputer technology and sensor digital conversion technology.

The two pressure interfaces are threaded and can be directly installed on the measuring pipeline or connected through the pressure pipe. After long-term aging and full temperature range temperature compensation, the product performance is stable and reliable.

4~20mA+HART signal is optional. It is widely used in differential pressure, level and flow measurement and control in process control, aviation, aerospace, automotive medical equipment, gas storage tanks, boiler water level gauges and other fields.

Smart Differential Pressure Transmitter Applications

Differential Pressure Transmitter vs Level Transmitter

First of all, the nature is different. The original design purpose of the differential pressure transmitter is to measure the differential pressure between two points. The purpose of the liquid level transmitter is to directly measure the liquid level or material level.

Of course, the differential pressure transmitter can also be a liquid level transmitter. The differential pressure transmitter can indirectly measure the liquid level. The measurement principle is as follows: In a closed container, after the liquid or gas is injected. A static pressure is formed inside the container. The pressure will decrease along the liquid level and is proportional to the liquid level. Types of Differential Pressure Transmitters

There are four main types of differential pressure transmitters:

Intelligent differential pressure transmitter: with digital communication capabilities. Capable of remote signal transmission and adjustment.

High static pressure differential pressure transmitter: can withstand higher working pressure. Usually used to measure differential pressure changes in high pressure environments.
Micro differential pressure transmitter: used to measure tiny pressure changes. Usually used in low pressure or vacuum environments.
Remote differential pressure transmitter: can transmit remote signals to the main controller or other equipment. To achieve remote monitoring and control.

 

Difference Between Pressure Transmitter and Differential Pressure Transmitter

The fundamental difference between pressure transmitters and differential pressure transmitters is the number of pressure points measured.

Pressure transmitters directly measure the pressure of the material, which is to measure one pressure point. Pressure transmitters convert the actual pressure value into a standardized electrical signal output.

Differential pressure transmitters measure the pressure difference generated when the material flows, which is to measure two pressure points. Differential pressure transmitters compare the pressure difference between two pressure values. Convert this difference into a standardized signal output (in practice, it is to do subtraction and then output the difference).
