Radar Water Level Sensor 0.05m~35m~65m~120m

Radar water level sensor is dedicated to non-contact, continuous water level measurement. The maximum range can reach 120m, and the blind area can be 8 cm. Can be customized with PP material and stainless steel material. Supports RS485 Modbus, 4-20mA and other signal outputs.

Radar Water Level Sensor Description

The Radar Water Level Sensor series products operate at 76-81GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar. Due to its higher operating frequency, larger bandwidth and higher measurement accuracy.

Supports four-wire and two-wire applications. Multiple models, the maximum range of the product can reach 120m, and the blind area can be 8 cm.

Due to its higher operating frequency and shorter wavelength, the measurement accuracy is higher. The working method of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves through lenses has unique advantages in high dust and harsh temperature environments.

The instrument provides flange, bracket or threaded fixing methods, making installation convenient and easy.

Working Principle of Radar Water Level Sensor

The radar water level meter uses the radar principle for non-contact water level measurement. Its working principle can be divided into the following steps:

Sending signal: The radar water level meter sends microwave signals through the antenna. The signal is sent in the form of pulses. It has a higher frequency and a short pulse width.

Receiving reflected signals: When the microwave signal encounters the water surface, a part of the signal is reflected back to the radar water level meter. The receiving antenna of the radar water level meter receives these reflected signals and converts them into electrical signals.

Signal processing: The received reflected signal is processed by amplification and filtering to remove stray signals and interference.

Distance calculation: According to the time delay and propagation speed of the reflected signal, the distance between the target object and the radar, that is, the height of the water level, is calculated.
