LLQ Series Gas Roots Flow Meter – Volumetric

LLQ series Gas Roots Flow Meter integrates flow, temperature, and pressure detection functions, and can automatically compensate for temperature and pressure. Also called lumpar wheel flow meter, roots meter.

1. High accuracy, up to ±1.5%R. The internal rotor is precision machined and balanced tested for contactless rotation. Ensure that the accuracy of the flow meter remains unchanged.
2. There is no need for straight pipe sections before and after the flow meter, and it can be installed in narrow environments.
3. The initial flow rate is small, and the initial flow rate of different specifications of flow meters is 0.04m³/h~1.20m³/h.
4. Wide range ratio, suitable for measuring gas flow with large changes.
5. Measuring accuracy is not affected by changes in pressure and flow, with stable performance and long life.
6. Equipped with RS-485 communication interface and IC card dedicated signal concentrator. And can form a remote data collection machine monitoring system through GPRS/CDMA, internet and network. Facilitates centralized collection and real-time management of data.
7. Display flow value locally and have multiple signal output functions.
8. It has real-time data storage function, and the explosion-proof mark is ExibllCT4.

LLQ series Gas Roots Flow Meter is a new generation gas flow meter that integrates flow, temperature and pressure detection functions and can automatically compensate for temperature and pressure.

Roots Meter Working Principle

Roots flowmeter (gas waist wheel flowmeter) is mainly composed of a housing, a conjugate rotor and a counting device.

A pair of conjugate rotors installed in the measuring chamber maintains the correct relative position of the rotors through precision-machined adjustment gears under the action of the outlet pressure difference of the circulating gas. The optimal working clearance between the rotors, the rotor and the shell, and the rotor and the wall panel is maintained to achieve continuous non-contact sealing.

Each time the rotor rotates once, the gas output is four times the effective volume of the metering chamber. The rotation speed of the rotor passes through the magnetic seal coupling device and reduction mechanism. Passed to the totalizing indication counter, thereby displaying the cumulative volume of the output gas.

What is a Roots gas meter?

Roots gas meter is also called gas waist wheel gas meter. There is a metering chamber inside the casing, and there are one or two pairs of waist wheels in the metering chamber that can rotate tangentially. A pair of drive gears are installed coaxially with the two waist wheels outside the flowmeter housing. They mesh with each other so that the two waist wheels can link with each other to obtain a metering gas meter.

Roots gas meters are mainly used as high-precision measuring instruments for continuous or intermittent measurement of gas flow in pipelines. It has the characteristics of high precision, good reliability, light weight, long life, low operating noise, and easy installation and use.
