High Frequency 26G Non Contact Radar Level Sensor

26G Non Contact Radar Level Sensor, the maximum measurement distance can reach 80 meters. The antenna is further optimized and a new fast microprocessor is used. The signal analysis and processing is at a higher rate. It can be used for: various highly corrosive liquids, reactors or solid silos with very complex measurement conditions.

  • Non-contact radar, no wear and no pollution;
    Shorter wavelength, better reflection on inclined solid surfaces;
  • Small beam angle, concentrated energy. While enhancing the echo capability, it is also conducive to avoiding interference;
  • Almost unaffected by corrosion and foam;
  • Almost unaffected by water vapor, temperature and pressure changes in the atmosphere;

26G Non Contact Radar Level Sensor Description

High frequency radar level meter usually uses radar waves in microwave frequency band (such as 26GHz). Because this frequency can penetrate most liquid media and has high measurement accuracy. Using non-contact measurement method, liquid level data can be obtained without direct contact with the liquid.

In addition, high frequency radar level meter also uses pulse signal and radio frequency technology to improve the accuracy and stability of measurement to cope with complex industrial environment.

How does a radar level sensor work?

The radar level antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse, which is transmitted downward through the antenna.

After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again. The signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit part and automatically converted into a level signal. Because the microwave propagation speed is extremely fast, the time taken for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and return to the receiver by reflection is almost instantaneous.

The reference surface for measurement is: the bottom surface of the thread or the sealing surface of the flange.
