Insertion Vortex Flow Meter-Multivariable & Cost Effective

Insertion Vortex Flow Meter is suitable for flow measurement of gas, liquid and steam in large diameter (DN200~DN2000) industrial pipelines.

1. It is a more economical choice for large-size pipes and can be installed under full process conditions (pressure drilling).
2. Small pressure loss and large measuring range.
3. Multiple parameters are displayed simultaneously. Instantaneous flow and accumulated flow are detected simultaneously. With temperature and pressure compensation, it can display fluid temperature and pressure.
4. It adopts piezoelectric stress sensor, which has good reliability and works in the operating temperature range of -40℃~+350℃.
5. There are analog standard signals and digital pulse signal output. Can be used with digital systems such as computers.

Insertion Vortex Flow Meter Description

Insertion Vortex Flow Meter uses a vortex velocity probe embedded in a piezoelectric crystal. Insert into large-diameter industrial pipelines to convert the Karman vortex frequency into a current or voltage pulse signal or a 4-20 mA current signal that is proportional to the flow rate.

It is widely used in large-diameter gas, liquid and steam flow measurement in various industries. It can also measure turbid liquids containing tiny particles and impurities.

Insertion Type Vortex Flow Meter is available in explosion-proof and temperature-pressure compensated types. Multiple parameters are displayed simultaneously. Instantaneous flow and accumulated flow are detected simultaneously. It can also be set to display volume flow and mass flow. With temperature and pressure compensation, it can display fluid temperature and pressure.

Insertion Vortex Flow Meter installation

Insertion Vortex Flow Meter installation steps:

1. Use gas welding to open a round hole slightly smaller than Φ100m on the pipe, and clean the burrs around the hole to ensure smooth rotation of the probe.
2. Weld the flange provided by the manufacturer to the round hole of the pipe, and the axis of the flange is required to be perpendicular to the axis of the pipe.
3. Install the ball valve and sensor on the welded flange.
4. Adjust the screw to make the insertion depth meet the requirements (make sure the central axis of the probe coincides with the central axis of the pipe), and the fluid flow direction must be consistent with the indicator arrow on the direction mark.
5. Tighten the screws on the gland evenly. (Note: The tightness of the gland determines the sealing degree of the instrument and whether the screw can rotate)
6. Check whether each link is completed, slowly open the valve and observe whether there is leakage (pay special attention to personal safety). If there is leakage, please repeat steps 5 and 6.
