V Cone Flow Meter-New Type DP Flow Meter

V cone flow meter is a new type of differential pressure flow meter. It uses a V-cone to create a throttling effect in the flow field to measure flow.

1. Low installation requirements. The first 0~3D straight pipe, the rear 0~1D straight pipe section;
2. Wide range ratio. It is usually 10:1, and it can be up to 50:1 by selecting appropriate parameters;
3. The pressure loss is small. For the same β value, the pressure loss is 1/3~1/5 of the orifice;
4. Wear resistance. After the streamlined cone is throttled, a vacuum layer effect is produced on the surface of the cone, making the cone not easy to wear;
5. No clogging, no adhesion. The conical thorough purging design avoids the retention of residue, condensate or particles in the fluid;
6. The signal is stable. “Signal fluctuation” is 1/10 of the orifice;
7. Measurable high-temperature and high-pressure media: the maximum working temperature is 850℃, and the maximum pressure is 40MPa;
8. Can detect dirty media (coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, raw oil, residual oil, etc.);
9. Measurable gas-liquid two-phase medium (humidity, condensate, etc.);

V Cone Flow Meter Description

The V-cone flowmeter is a leap forward in differential pressure flow measurement. The V cone flow meter uses the throttling effect produced by the V cone in the flow field to measure the flow rate by detecting the pressure difference between the upstream and downstream. Compared with ordinary throttling parts, the center hole throttling is changed to annular throttling. Moreover, the V-cone itself acts as a rectifier for the flow field, making it an excellent new flow meter with unique performance.
